Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Budget Management: Monitor and manage budgets for various projects and departments within the data science division. Ensure financial resources are allocated effectively and within budgetary constraints.
Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management and stakeholders. Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize financial performance. Monitor and control expenditures to ensure adherence to financial policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand financial requirements and provide financial guidance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices.
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and investment decisions. Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
